What do I even do? [Audio Note]

I spent the week at the beach thinking about my signature framework, but actually what I've been thinking about is what do I really want to do? How do I really want to help people? And I kind of frustratingly, very frustratingly, really, I don't have an answer.

There are a lot of things I like helping people do. I like helping people with their podcast. I ruled that out because I didn't think it was a lucrative enough niche, right? And so I'm talking to business owners and solopreneurs, but what do I really help them with? Automations, systems, do they say systems?

I reviewed some of my notes from Cabo Press last year where I asked people what my difference factor was and routinely the word simplify came up. What do I do for work right now? I'm kind of a hired gun for a few places, right? I help Justin more with sponsorship coaching and any other systems in his podcast.

I create content for RSS.com and I give them insight into, you know, being an actual podcaster, right? Being like a notable podcaster, notable lowercase n, I guess. That's relative, not bragging on myself there. I create LinkedIn learning courses. I do some website work. I build automations for people. I do podcast coaching.

All of this in the service of helping people be better, be more present online. Maybe that's what it is. Maybe I help people show up better online for their business without it taking all of their time. I think systems is a fuzzy word. Streamlined is now like an AI word. What does it really mean? How does it really connect with people?

Simplify is maybe better, but I think maybe when some people hear the word simplify, they think make smaller or reduce, when I don't really mean that. I sent an email to my newsletter, though I sent it noon on a Friday, so I might as well have not sent it at all, asking people what they... I stole this from my friend Jason Resnick.

I basically said, if you can ask me anything, you have me in a coffee shop for an hour, what would you ask me? And nobody's responded yet. I'm probably going to resend it on Monday. I'd love to hear that answer from you, though. If we were in a coffee shop and you had me and my full attention for an hour, what would you ask me professionally? What would you ask me for help with? Let me know at streamlinedfeedback.com.

One of the reasons I was excited to hire Charlotte was because I knew that she would force me to answer these questions. What I'm shocked at is that I don't have a suitable answer. And this is a really important thing for me to answer. I help people with podcasts. I help people build systems. What does that mean?

I think I've never really thought about it. Or I've never thought about it in an appreciable way. I like building stuff for people. I like helping people automate. I like teaching. I'm a little bit at a loss for how exactly I need to translate that. So I'm struggling.

But, you know, I would love to hear from you. Let me know. Streamlinedfeedback.com. Streamlined with a D. Feedback.com. And hopefully I'll have some more clarity in a few days.
